This course starts with basics of coking and what goes on inside the coke drums. The training includes explanation and discussions of small cycle steps during drum switching. This training is highly interactive to emphasize importance of each small cycle step and consequences if a short cut is taken. Further, procedures of coke cutting to minimize coke fines, handling a plugged and/or a short/tarry drum are discussed. Each attendee will get a booklet of more than 200 slides.
